Every morning, I open up my web browser wondering if today is going to be the day I don’t say “What the fuck?” about something that His Fraudulency Donald the Trump or one of his lizard people officials said or did. Today, once again, was not that day. Because a) the Orange Racist Pussy Grabber released his proposed budget for next year, a budget that predominantly eliminates programs that help Trump voters such as Meals for Wheels and the Appalachian Regional Commission (and what kind of heartless sociopath could ever advocate zeroing out the budget for Meals for Wheels and Sesame Street, for crying out loud!), but he also proposed spending $4.1 billion on his wall next year. Because people might die due to eliminating the Chemical Safety Board, but by god it won’t be done by one of them Messicans!
Talking about which, the Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court has demanded that ICE stop stalking California courts, claiming that ICE is intimidating Hispanic witnesses in ongoing criminal trials and causing a public safety hazard. ICE of course says basically “up yours, Ms. Judge, you’re not the boss of me!”. Just as Customs and Border Protection says to they don’t have to obey the NAFTA treaty that says registered nurses qualify for a TN visa and thus can keep out much-needed Canadian nurses because, well, they can. Even though NAFTA is still the law until officially repealed or renegotiated. But God-Emperor Donald the Trump’s administration doesn’t care about no steenkin’ law, it’s all defiant juvenile “you’re not the boss of me! I don’t have to follow your rules!”. Because Cheeto Mussolini says they can. So they do it.
Then there is the ongoing Nazi saga of Sebastian Gorka, who has been dodging allegations that he is a Nazi for weeks now. Well, today a Jewish news magazine published what they purport is evidence that he really is a genuine bona fide Nazi, forcing him to explicitly deny that he’s a Nazi. Except that if he was ever a member of that Hungarian Nazi Party, he is ineligible for immigration to the United States, and could be stripped of his citizenship and deported, just like that sad sack Nazi who’s about to be deported to Poland. Oops!
And on to the Russia front. No wonder Michael Flynn resigned — he was up to his ears in Russian dough.
Finally, I think we’ve found Donald Trump’s next Peace Corps head — a Mormon missionary who beat the crap out of two people who tried to hold him up in Brazil. Because Trump is defunding the Institute for Peace while giving the military more money because the only peace he believes in is the peace of the grave, and this is exactly the right man to enforce that peace.
And that’s this day’s dispatch from the Imperial States of America, where God-Emperor Donald the Trump’s regime of lawlessness and incompetence continues as it has for the past 56 days.

I’m calling this the Gish Gallop of maladministration. The amount of constant awful being produced is staggering. I’m thinking that (if there is one) future historians will skip this presidency, and/or devote a whole program to its study. I know republicans rely on democrats to clean up their messes and keep things running (since republicans can’t govern), but four years of this may leave little to be fixed, and little resources to do the job.

The real story to historians will be the rebuilding of the USA after the natural disaster of letting our guards down to the threat of fascism. The rebuilding will be fascinating.

And the WTF continues, as Rexie suggests military action against North Korea and his sanctions program changes is being panned in both South Korea and China…a pretty impressive feat, getting those two to agree on something.

I can’t… even. Haven’t these idiots ever looked at a map and noticed that 90% of South Korea’s economy is within 20 miles of the border with North Korea? And that’s half the world’s shipbuilding as well as probably 30% of the world’s electronics industry right there within artillery range of literally *thousands* of North Korean artillery guns! Gah, the stupid, it burns, it burns!

That may very well be their ploy.. if they have one. Same with the Border Wall destroying US-Mexico trade, same with all the gaffes with Europe, same with all the terrible relations they are developing with the rest of the world…
They don’t believe we need them at all. And if a bunch of brown (or yellow, or black) people get killed in the process, they think, so much the better. Take out even MORE of the “others,” reduce them all to poverty, and they will have to come crawling back to the US for all their goods, just like in the old days…
Where they miscalculate is in the US’ ability to re-tool and re-build all that industrial infrastructure. Counter to their “hope and pray” ideals, we just don’t have the resources anymore. All the good iron is gone, all the good coal is gone, all the cheap oil is gone, all the technical know-how is actually “furriners”… they think that destroying the ability of the “Others” to trade with us will somehow make us great again by “pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps.”
Problem is, we don’t have anymore boots, let alone bootstraps…

And if we really dig into this we have to admit that this is not Trumpenstein’s budget. After all, my 18-year-old kitty has more knowledge of the budget and administration and how the world works than the moron-in-chief.
This is the budget of the returds and their “think tanks” who have wanted to destroy Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and everything else We The People do to help the less fortunate since the moment these programs were proposed.
We sure as fuck live in interesting times.

Interesting as usual. My only but, is Flynn, as a general, reporting all his incomes from outside of the good ole us of a, he forgot to mention his association with Russian interests? I wonder if he is really retired? Or just unassignable due to lack of good conduct. That should have been in his security record given to the president, or his staff. Along with his fitness report, or they just read the paper.
