Fifteen of the people involved with the Malheur situation were FBI informants. LOL. Do you really think, after these militias showed up at the Bundy Ranch and pointed guns at Federal employees, that the FBI was just going to ignore them? No. They immediately started investigating, infiltrating, putting people into place, turning people who had things in their past that the FBI could use against them. And remember, only *three* of the informants testified at the Bundy trial. The other twelve are still out there. In these “militias”. Where everybody is now looking at each other, wondering, “which one of us is an FBI informant?”.
My kudos to the FBI. They saw a real threat, and they acted to contain it. These militias aren’t going to be up to anything nasty and violent anytime soon. They’re all too scared that anybody who suggests doing something nasty and violent might just be one of the FBI informants. This is how it’s done, people. This is why there will be no armed revolt that overthrows the U.S. government. To be militarily effective, you have to *organize* — disorganized people aren’t a revolt, they’re scattered criminals, easily rounded up and imprisoned. And organizing when you don’t know which of your group are Federal informants and which ones are real… that’s pretty damn much impossible.

It makes me wonder what kind of place these guys grew up in. Were they all home schooled in sparsely populated areas? Okay, they’re all a lot younger than me, and they used to say, “With age comes wisdom,” but I’m not sure I believe that. Anyway I was unlucky enough to be in high school during the McCarthy Years. I noticed my high school library did not have a single book that described Communism, but we had two copies of Mein Kampf. We learned through oral tradition from the labor movement and the anarchists and the Wobblies and Socialists left over from the ’30s, an old Russian saying, “Whenever three people conspire against the government, two of them are government informants.” We learned that, “If the FBI agents stopped paying their dues, the American Communist Party would be broke in a month.” But the problem is they not only infiltrate and monitor these groups, they infiltrate and lead these groups. They seek out obvious doofuses and persuade them that if they’ll talk about blowing people up they’ll have a friend to listen to them and help them figure out things to do, and help them get stuff they need to blow people up. In other words they’re provocateurs, not just informants. I’m ashamed of them.

Well, the *leaders* of this group are all in court right now and likely going to jail. So in this case the leaders aren’t the infiltrators. But yes, there have definitely been cases where an informant urged a group to do something illegal. Which is one of the reasons why these groups are all going to be rather moribund for the next few years, because every time someone says, “why don’t we go do sketchy thing X!”, they’re all goinna look at each other and ask themselves, “is he one of those government informers?”. Sure beats the alternative, where these guys start shooting people as part of their “revolution”.

This is a satisfying story. I was fully annoyed with the feebs during the incidents, thinking they were providing a melanin-related government benefit. But if the delay, and apparent (to wackos) blind-eye resulted in crippling ALL future such events, at the expense of a few weeks of embarrassment, I am VERY satisfied with the feebs now.

I have only one problem with the tactic. Yea, it worked on them, but just by the trump party, they didn’t dig far enough. And remember a bunch got put into the indian demonstrations also. So, you like cops? or just the ones that instigate, or just not the neighborhood cops? They have to be plain cloths cops to be any good? Remember, back a few years ago, some cases were handed back to the police, i believe arkansas, kansas and oklahoma, where they had to release the bank robbers of the midwest? The case was handled by, and evidence contaminated by the feds. Not nice. Went from life to just a couple years at club fed.
