And today in Soviet America…

October 9, 2012 by badtux99

… the Tit Squeezing Assholes of the TSA humiliate a woman dying of cancer by requiring her to hold up her blouse while they poked at her chest bandages. Pretty much par for the course though… these are the same Gestapo Light assholes who made a 4 year old disabled boy remove his leg braces and crawl through the metal detectors for their entertainment.

And what were the people around this incident doing? Was there a crowd gathering, muttering about how this wasn’t right and how they shouldn’t be harassing a dying woman that way? Nope. It was all, like, “Mooooo! BAAAAA!” as the sheep kept on keeping on. So it goes in Soviet America, where all the good Sovoks know that standing up for what is right will accomplish nothing other than making you miss your flight.

Te most offensive thing about these events is that the people who most supported these laws, thinking they meant “get tough on brown people” are some of the loudest complainers. I wouldn’t mind another rubber glove up my ass if it meant humiliating as many teabaggers as possible. I haven’t been able to see a doctor since I lost my insurance two years ago. Maybe they’ll catch something.

Well, you wouldn’t want the rest of the passengers to miss their flight, would you?

Stories such as this are huge. This and all the others like it should be more than enough to begin a discussion within the system to make some long overdue changes. That will not happen.

Soon I will have to bow down to my Masters and remove my footwear and undergo who knows what else entirely at their whim. It will be very hard for me to do. I will remain quite and curse them the whole time through.

I could use up a lifetime of curses on these jerks. And great new breakout of the abbreviation, btw!

Wasn’t it just last Thanksgiving that there was a spate of stories in the news, including on the all-important Telescreen (because nothing is real unless you see it on TV) about the hassles the TSSA was handing out? People were up in arms! Something must be done! And a year later…. crickets.

Who amongst you has flown on a commercial airplane within the U.S.? If you do, you’re acceding to the system. Only when people get so sick of being pushed around by the security theatre goons that airlines start losing passengers big-time will anything change. I don’t see that happening.

I refuse to fly within the U.S., even though I’d like to go to Hawaii again, and it’s cheaper to fly to Europe via the U.S. than going through Toronto. But fuck that shit. I’m basically permanently disgruntled, so it comes easier to me.

It’s not going to happen because there’s a built in ratchet-effect to security-theatre. The people doing the job are under pressure to be seen “doing something” which can be met by more and more intrusive measures. However, if they DROP doing something, they never gain any kudos and could potentially be held responsible for a catastrophe.

The incentive structure is fucked up.
