So Deputy Fife finally got to use his bullet

October 8, 2012 by badtux99

Deputy Fife takes down a nude 137-pound 5’7″ kid. Because the kid, Gilbert Thomas Collar, was wielding a deadly weapon between his legs? I don’t know. It makes no sense. Cops have batons, cops have pepper spray, cops have a lot of things to use to deal with rowdy people, especially rowdy unarmed *naked* people. Yet this cop let an unarmed 5’7″ 137 pound kid chase him or her around the quad? A gun was the only way Deputy Fife could take on this kid? For true?

Clearly, all that non-gun stuff is not for actual police work. It’s just for sadistic torture of demonstrably innocent, nonviolent people. Because respect.

I wonder what they’re teaching at police academies now? Any restraint? Or is it: “Naked kid won’t cooperate? Shoot ‘em. People sitting on a sidewalk to protest? Shoot ‘em. Woman gives you lip after a traffic stop? Shoot her.”

You think in cop squadrooms, they talk about tactics, maybe the officer in charge gives advice for the day: “OK boys, you run into anybody who acts out of line, shoot them right away. The municipality has lawyers to deal with the million-dollar wrongful death suits. You didn’t join the force to put your safety at risk. You’re there to punish the public and make sure they do whatever the police tell them to. We have to shoot people, because it’s the only way to keep society from going totally out of control.”

Well, hey, the legislator from Arkansas would think this was AOK — kid was obviously disobedient and the cop could be the ‘local parent’….or is that ‘loco parent’?

What the hell is WRONG with these people?

I think it’s the “zombie” influence. Too many grade D movies where you have to shoot first. Gives lower iq’s the shakes. Won’t face anyone without a loaded gun in their hand.

Strangest case of suicide I ever saw.
