What the hell?!

Does becoming a high school principal cause your brains to bleed out your ears, or what?

Of course, the girl has already been accepted at college with a full scholarship, so WTF does she need a stupid piece of paper from her high school, anyhow?

In other news, it turns out that Misery’s teabagger candidate also is against the school lunch program (“parents shouldn’t have had children if they couldn’t afford to feed the little bastards!”) and against Medicare too (“fucking olds just need to die, already.”) Yet in today’s poll is *still* leading the Democratic candidate by 1 point. Has Misery lost its fucking mind?!

“fucking olds just need to die, already.”

AFAIC, they’re welcome to try… if they think they can bring that about. Bring. It. On!

‘Principal”, not “principle”. Important distinction to remember.

That very conservative state has voters who believe all the “this is the fault of those extreme liberals” (like McCaskill) line. Don’t bother to check facts, ’cause whatever soundbite the guy on tee vee says has got to be true…

Missouri used to be such a pleasant state to fly over.

Getting back to Achin’ in Misery, what amazed me on Monday was how that became THE central story in the Amerkin meeja. At least on MSNBC, CNN, Thom Hartmann’s liberal talk radio show, another angry left-wing radio ranter named Mike Malloy that we listen to at night on the computer, all over the liberal boggysphere… I tried to see how it was playing on Fux, but I couldn’t last through more than 5 minutes of it, and “legitimate rape” was not on during those minutes. I don’t watch Amerkin TV network news (our cable system shows the Seattle channels) so I don’t know if it led CBS, etc.

It was a dumb-ass thing to say, as so many Republikkkan statements are, but it was a gaffe. All this coordinated meeja outrage over a stupid utterance. Compare that to the LACK of attention to legalized robot killings of American citizens, or Peak Oil (a phrase you’ll never hear on U.S. TV) or so many other important topics. It was like the leftish-wing echo chamber had a subject it could feel good about for a Two Minutes’ Hate.

Akin will probably get elected. He would not be much worse than a Blue Dog (Bitch?) like McCaskill. Why not have an open knuckle-dragging mouth-breather like him instead of a closeted “R” like Claire. America is so fucked. Let it be done by public fuckwits instead of hidden pretenders.

Bukko, it wasn’t a gaffe. It’s what he really believes. As for why the *right wing* media has gone crazy over it instead of saying IOKIYR… well. See my new post.

Steve — if Ryan has his way, no Medicare, no Social Security, I guess you could always wheel your wheelchair out to the sidewalk next to the exit from a hospital and beg for change and healthcare. Good luck with that.
