Busybodies redux

August 19, 2012 by badtux99

By now, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard about Republican Senatorial candidate Todd Akin, who according to polls is going to be the next Senator from Missouri (or perhaps we should spell it the way Arkansans pronounce it — “Misery”). That is, Women don’t get pregnant from real rape. Apparently he believes that if it’s really rape, women’s bodies produce some sort of hormone that keeps the little wiggly sperm from implanting the ovum. So every time a woman gets pregnant as a result of rape, it’s because she wanted to be raped, it wasn’t real rape.

I won’t go into the science that debunks that ridiculous claim, or the moral vacuum that exists in the soul of a man who wants to force women at gunpoint to bear their rapist’s child, because you’re already aware of all that. I’ll just point out that he is yet another one of those busybodies who believes that women are too dumb, too stupid, to make their own decisions, to make their own choices. He apparently believes women are delicate flowers, dumb and air-headed, too stupid to entrust with making important decisions for themselves such as whether to continue or terminate a pregnancy, and thus big man Akin must make decisions for women. ‘Cause you know, them women, they’re just dumb and stupid and can’t make decisions for themselves, yo.

In a free country, women can make their own decisions about their pregnancy. But Akin doesn’t want a free country. He wants a nation where men can impose their will at gunpoint onto women. Todd Akin hates freedom, and his bullshit about “real rape” is just bullshit to cover up the fact that Todd Akin hates freedom and loves tyranny — at least, when he is the tyrant, and women are the victims of his tyranny.

Badtux, you’ve hit the nail on the head. None of these organisms – it’s the only word I can think of that does not give them some level of intellgence – want freedom. They want control, over every aspect of our lives. Small government? Yeah, right. Small government for those services that help normal people and not the 1%. Big government for the 1% to control the 99%. I tried to send an email to the rep. asking him to explain to me these things but, not being one of his constituents, I couldn’t.

But e-mail claire from misery, not just the people from ark say it that way, and you will even get a invite to come over to the next town hall in your area. And not just in the election years, she will actually talk to you, and see how her ideas match yours. She’s almost a “liberal”, willing to listen to other ideas, and try to incorperate them into a plan for the people. Such a bad thing for “amerika”

The news reports are now saying that Akin’s stupidity may cost him the election. One can hope.

Another “macacca” moment from another repub politician. Sen. McCaskill just won the lottery and didn’t even have to pony up for this gift.

Republicans have a way of making Dumb and Dumber look like Smart and Smarter, don’t they?

Akin is an utter failure as a human being. John Dean would surely have classified him among his Conservatives Without Compassion. Akin has no business in public office of any sort: no one so ignorant of basic biology does.
