Swat teams for evictions from now on

August 13, 2012 by badtux99

One of the things the gun fanatics always say is, “if the Jews had fought back with guns when there was that knock on their door in the middle of the night, the Nazis would have never been able to find enough policemen to arrest them all.” Which is, of course, utter balderdash. The Nazis had the equivalent of SWAT teams too, after all, and when a SWAT team comes to take you down, you’re either dead or arrested at the end.

Reason I’m thinking of this is because of the folks who say, “well, the way to deal with the eviction crisis is for all those being evicted to resist with force, then you’ll never find anybody willing to enforce eviction orders!” Which, apparently, some loser in Texas took to heart, killing a Texas constable who came to serve him with an eviction order, and in turn being killed by a SWAT team.

In Texas, constables are elected. They don’t need any formal law enforcement training to be elected. The state does offer training classes but not anywhere sufficient to call them real law enforcement officers. But that’s not their job, their job is to handle clerical stuff like serving court papers and such. There’s likely to be some changes in how they operate thanks to this shooting, but I’ll tell you one thing — if there’s a second shooting, eviction notices are going to be served with a battering ram, flash-bang, and SWAT team from now on. And there’s going to be a lot of dead dogs and terrified children as a result, not to mention that if one of these heros happens to have a gun in his hand when the SWAT team busts through the door, there’s going to be some little orphaned children and a widow (or widower, if the “hero” is a woman). Way to go, loser. And good riddance.

While I have no sympathy for the asshole who shot up the constable — he was a bloodthirsty wannabe sniper – this is how the prole resistance is going to play out. A critical mass of Americans are inclined to be fractious, and when they feel like their backs are to the wall, they will do the same thing that trapped rats do — fight back to the death against their attackers. Doesn’t matter that the attackers in that case work in some air conditioned bank office in a distant city. People who are willing to commit suicide (including suicide by cop) are going to shoot at whoever’s in front of them. Conversely, when the clampdown intensifies, it’s going to be the local and state police, not jackbooted thugs in U.S. government uniforms, who round people up for questioning and disappearance into the counter-terror gulag. Little by little, incidents like this will intensify the police state-ification of Amerikkka. Too bad the idiots can’t bring themselves to shoot the real villains, anonymously hidden in corporate cubicles.

The problem is, as you note, that these assholes are killing the wrong people. Killing some working class schlub cop isn’t going to fix anything, it’s just going to make cops more paranoid and more brutal than they already are (and they’re already pretty damn paranoid and brutal). Unfortunately our lords and masters are pretty much hidden behind security guards and steel gates, so getting to them would require organization and planning, neither of which Neanderthalus Americanus is good at. WASF.
