Kaki King has a new album coming out in a month or so, and from what I’ve heard so far, it appears she’s gone back to her roots and generated a song of acoustic instrumental music. My guess is that touring with a band for her last album, which was more of a rock album, proved to be too expensive to support. This is “Cargo Cults” off of her upcoming album Glow.
